How to be the Perfect Parent: from the Student's Aspect

My first blog describing my plans on educating the fathers and mothers of Potomac on how to properly parent.

For the past 3 years of my life, I have taken a journey within , learning the ins and outs of the high school process and how to make it through with your head still attached.

Now, talking and complaining to my friends about high school has its uses, but in the process, I might as well give my thoughts to the parents of Potomac and give them a hand in understanding what we are going through and how to be "the perfect parent" to their growing child.

In addition, I will teach you how to help your child with the college process, while still giving your son or daughter the independence they desire. Recently at a community press conference with Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Congressman Chris Van Hollen, Superintendent Dr. Jerry Weast; and Board of Education President Chris Barclay, one thing became clear: high school is no longer about getting an education, but rather preparing you for a college education. There are exceptions to this statement, but they basically stated that these days jobs are so competitive that a college degree is expected in order to be hired and deal with today's competition. Follow me, and your kid should get into college.

I look forward to sharing my thoughts and assisting parents in how to properly get their main job done, being a parent.
