Good morning, Potomac! It’s Monday morning, and time to get your work week started with these “5 Things.” Among our offerings: weather, some interesting tidbits and a few quick notes.

1. We’re looking at another sunny and hot week in Potomac. Skies will be sunny and clear in the second half of the week, with temperatures reaching 100 degrees on Friday and Saturday. Lows this week will be in the 70s. Today there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Today’s high will be 85, with tonight’s lows dropping to 56.

2.
