German School of Washington in Potomac will host a 5K Oktoberfest Run this weekend to support the restoration of the school’s track and field.
Participants can sign up to race in the school’s first sponsored race on Saturday, to be followed by German Oktoberfest celebration complete with bratwurst and beer. The post-race festival will include activities for family and kids, as well as a silent auction including prize trips to Texas, Arizona and Germany
Entry fees cost $30 for adults and $23 for children and teens from Thursday through Saturday, or until spots sell out. For more information about the race check out the event website here.
