Meet Abby: Pure Puppy Love!
Looking to add some fun and energy into your life? Meet Abby, an adorable, 4-month-old Dobie-mix who is super sweet, playful and loving, and looking to find a family of her own.
Hey guys! My name is Abigail, but all my friends call me Abby. I’m an adorable, happy-go-lucky, and loving Dobie-mix girl. I’m only four months old and a mere 25 pounds, but I’m growing quickly and will be around 55 or 60 pounds when fully grown. I’m really playful and funny, especially when I hop around like a bunny. I have lots of puppy energy, enthusiasm and love to share with my new family.
I just came into rescue and am so glad that Mutts Matter saved me... The shelter is no place for a young pup like me. Apparently, I was surrendered because my owner was moving and felt I was “too active.” Can you believe that someone would leave me behind? Gosh! I’m a puppy, what did they expect? All I want to do is love, love, love, and they didn’t even give me a chance to settle in. Their loss.

I just moved into my new foster home and can already tell my foster mom is cool and she gets it. She has a lot of puppy experience and fosters many of the young pups that come into Mutts Matter Rescue. So I’m in good hands now, and I have two pup siblings in the house to play with and learn from.
I have a great temperament and don’t have a mean or aggressive bone in my body. I’m good with other dogs, kids and just about anyone who will pay attention to me. I would do well in an active home, as I have lots of puppy energy and will need regular exercise and playtime to stay healthy and balanced.

Like all puppies, I’m super cute, but I’m also a serious commitment and don’t want to end up back in a shelter. I’m still learning my manners and like to jump up on people when I greet them – but I just want to love them! My foster mom is working with me on potty training and basic commands, but I would definitely benefit from formal obedience training. I’m smart, eager to learn and very food motivated, which will make training me that much easier. Oh, and did I mention how cute I am?!
