Man Robs Potomac Bank With Note, Implied Gun

The man said he had a gun, but no gun was seen, police say.

Montgomery County police released photos Monday of a man whom they suspect robbed a Potomac bank on Saturday, Dec. 21.

At 3 p.m. Saturday, a man approached a teller at the M&T Bank at 10100 River Rd. and produced a note announcing the robbery. The man implied that he had a gun, but no weapon was seen, police reported.

The man received an undisclosed amount of cash then fled on foot into the adjacent shopping center, police said.
