One Commercial Robbery Reported in Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Jan. 30 to Feb. 7.

 

One robbery and four thefts from vehicles were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Jan. 30 – Feb. 7.

A commercial robbery occurred at the CVS located at 7955 Tuckerman Ln. in Potomac on Monday, Feb. 6 at 2:45 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: A black male, between 6’-6’2” tall, 200-210 lbs., wearing a black ski mask, grey sweatshirt, gloves and carrying a duffle bag. 

Three thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Tuesday, Jan. 31 to Wednesday, Feb. 1. The first three victims had a forced entry; the last victim had unlocked doors.

  • Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the 10700 block of Cloverbrook Drive. Took eight suits that had been just dry cleaned.
  • Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the 10600 block of Cloverbrook Drive. Searched vehicle but nothing was taken.
  • Between 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. in the 10700 block of Boswell Lane. Took a pair of sunglasses and a GPS.

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the parking lot of Old Angler’s Inn, 10801 Mac Arthur Blvd. in Potomac on Sunday, Feb. 5, between 12 a.m. and 4 p.m. Forced entry, took an MP3 player, a backpack, ID, credit cards, a Northface jacket and a wallet.
