Police Blotter: Aug. 22-30

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Aug. 22-30.

One burglary, an armed robbery and an aggravated assault were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Aug. 22-30.

Burglary:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11000 block of Tara Road in Potomac between Wednesday, Aug. 24, and Monday, Aug. 29. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.

Armed Robbery:

  • An armed robbery occurred in the 8500 block of Country Club Drive in Potomac on Thursday, Aug. 25, between 1:45 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Aggravated Assault:

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 8200 block of Coach Street in Potomac on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 8:13 p.m. This call turned into an ERT call out. The suspect was taken into custody and charged. A 23-year-old male from Bethesda was arrested.
