Police Blotter: Feb. 20

A look at crime in Potomac from the past week.

Police from the Montgomery County Police Department released crime information from Feb. 14 through Feb. 22, which featured very little crime coming out of Potomac.

During those dates, Potomac saw one robbery, which occurred on Feb. 20 on Westlake Drive and Westlake Terrace.  

At approximately 7:45 p.m. a suspect approached an adult male victim at the bus stop and demanded the victim's belongings, which he handed over. The suspect took the belongings and ran to a nearby waiting vehicle, described as a dark-colored sports utility vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 25 years old. He is about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds and has dreadlocks.
