Police Blotter: July 25-Aug. 3

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for July 25 to Aug. 3.

Six residential burglaries and one theft were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period from July 25 to Aug. 3.

Burglaries:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 7100 block of Natelli Woods Lane on Friday, July 29, between 3 p.m. and 5:22 p.m. Forced entry was made; nothing was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 12500 block of Park Potomac Avenue between Friday, July 29, and Sunday, July 31. Unknown means of entry; property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Beechknoll Lane at 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, July 30. There was forced entry; it is not known if anything was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Maplecrest Lane on Tuesday, Aug. 2, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Forced entry was made; property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11800 block of Hunting Ridge Court on Tuesday, Aug. 2, between 8:15 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. Unforced entry; property was taken.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 13300 block of Deerbrook Drive on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 8:19 p.m. Unknown means of entry; it is not known if anything was taken.

Theft:

  • A theft from a construction site occurred in the 10800 block of Rock Run Drive between 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, and noon Wednesday, July 27.
