Police Blotter: Oct. 17-25

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Oct. 17-25.

Five burglaries were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Oct. 17-25.

Burglaries:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10800 block of Deborah Drive, Potomac, on Wednesday, Oct. 19, between 12 p.m. and 12:52 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 8800 block of Mayberry Court, Potomac, on Wednesday, Oct. 19, between 10:50 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Forced entry; property taken. Suspect: black male, black baseball cap, black windbreaker.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 7900 block of Carteret Road, Potomac, on Thursday, Oct. 20 between 9:45 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. Forced entry; property taken. Suspect: black male, 20-25 years old, 5’11”-6’1”, grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants; Suspect: black male, 20-25 years old; Vehicle: silver mini-van, possibly a Honda, with a sliding door.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Hemswell Lane, Potomac, on Thursday, Oct. 20 between 11:15 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken. Suspect: black male, 20’s.
  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 6700 block of Bonaventure Court, Potomac on Monday, 10/24 between 7:15 a.m. and 3:58 p.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken.
