Police Blotter: Sept. 19-27

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Sept. 19-27.

One burglary, one attempted burglary and multiple thefts-from-auto were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Sept. 19-27.

Burglaries:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11800 block of Forum Hill Court, Potomac, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, between 12:03 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. Forced entry; but nothing was taken.
  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 13200 block of Glen Road, Potomac, on Thursday, Sept. 22, between 2 p.m. and 2:13 p.m. Attempted entry; nothing obtained.

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred throughout the Potomac beat. Two had unlocked doors, three had “unknown entry” and two had a broken window. Only loose items left inside the vehicles were taken. Affected streets included:

  • 13600 and 13700 blocks of Valley Oak Circle
  • 13500 block of Gum Spring Drive
  • 10700 block of Falls Road
  • 10800 block of Potomac Tennis Lane
  • 14200 block of Secluded Lane
  • 10000 block of Travilah Road
