Police Blotter: Sept. 26 – Oct. 5

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Sept. 26-Oct. 5.

Four burglaries and one assault were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Sept. 26 – Oct. 5.

Burglaries:

  • A commercial burglary occurred at Radio Shack, 7715 Tuckerman Lane, Potomac between 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2. Forced entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Lilly Stone Drive, Potomac between 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2. Unknown means of entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 10500 block of Alloway Drive, Potomac on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 1:55 p.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown if anything was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10900 block of Piney Meetinghouse Road, Potomac between Wednesday, Sept. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 9:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 12100 block of Bentridge Place, Potomac on Thursday, Oct. 29, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and was arrested. A 17-year-old girl from Potomac was arrested.
