Police: Masked Man Robs Potomac M&T Bank With Hand Gun

Police are looking for a suspect believed to have committed a Dec. 22 armed robbery.

Police are looking for a masked suspect who robbed the M&T bank in the Cabin John Shopping Center.

First District police officers responded to a call from the M&T Bank located at 11325 Seven Locks Road just after 9:20 a.m. on Dec. 22. According to a police report, a male suspect wearing a mask entered the bank, approached a teller showing a small black handgun, and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank.

The suspect is described as a male, of unknown race, over six feet tall, with a medium build. Montgomery County police detectives released surveillance photos of the robbery, which show man wearing a dark blue jacket, a light green button-up shirt, gloves and a Halloween mask.
