Potomac Crime: Attempted Robbery, 6 Teen Suspects

The attempted robbery took place in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard, Potomac.

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department in its summary of major crimes occurring in the county between July 15 and 23. The mention of an arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

  • An attempted robbery occurred in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard, Potomac, on Friday, July 19, at about 7:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victims and unsuccessfully attempted to remove property from the victims. The six suspects are all male juveniles, approximately 16 to 17 years old, according to the crime summary.
