Potomac Crime: Residential, ATM Burglaries; Thefts from Vehicles

The following crimes were included in the county police's crime summary for April 27 to May 7.

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department in its summary of major crimes occurring in the county between April 27 and May 7. The mention of an arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Newbridge Drive, Potomac, on Thursday, May 2, between 12:20 and 4:20 p.m. There was a forced entry, and property was taken. 
  • A theft occurred at the Bank of America at 10217 Falls Rd., Potomac, on Tuesday, May 7, at about 1:40 a.m. Read more about the incident on Potomac Patch.
  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred sometime during the morning hours on Monday, April 29, in the 8700 block of Crider Brook Way, Potomac. Two unlocked cars were entered and valuables (laptop, purse, glasses) left inside were taken.
