Potomac Crime: Burglary at Country Glen Swim & Tennis Club

Local crime incidents included in the county police department's most recent crime summary.

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department in its summary of major crimes occurring in the county between June 3 and 11. The mention of an arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

  • A commercial burglary occurred at the Country Glen Swim & Tennis Club (10055 Glen Rd., Potomac) between 9:15 p.m. Saturday, June 8, and 7 a.m. Sunday, June 9. There was a forced entry, and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 13200 block of Tschiffely Mill Road in nearby Poolesville on Sunday, June 9, at 10 a.m. There was no forced entry, and nothing was taken. The suspect, according to the police crime summary, was a white male, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with long grey hair, unshaven, with a silver loop earring in one ear, and wearing a blue shirt and tan pants.
