Potomac Motorcyclist Dies in Collision
Montgomery County Police identified the motorcyclist as Potomac resident, Mohit K Lal Bhatnagar.
A Potomac motorcyclist died in a collision in Rockville on Wednesday morning.
At 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, a green 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling eastbound on West Montgomery Avenue near Hurley Avenue and a gray 2009 Nissan Versa was turning left from westbound West Montgomery onto Hurley Avenue. The motorcyclist — who Montgomery County Police identified as Potomac resident, Mohit K Lal Bhatnagar — fell off the motorcycle and was hit by the Nissan. Police are still investigating what caused Bhatnagar to fall off the motorcycle.
Bhatnagar, 48, lives in the 11300 block of Palatine Drive in Potomac.

The driver of the Nissan, Joseph William West, age 73, of the 1300 block of Stratton Drive in Rockville, remained at the scene.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue transported Bhatnagar to Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
