Robbery, Burglary Reported In Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Nov. 12-20.

A residential burglary, two thefts from auto and a robbery were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Nov. 12-20.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11200 block of Greenbriar Preserve Lane, Travilah between Monday, Nov. 12, and Saturday, Nov. 17.  Forced entry; property taken.   
  • Two vehicle thefts occurred in the beat.  Both of the stolen vehicles were left unlocked with the key inside.
    • Between Monday, Nov. 12, at 11 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 8 a.m. in the 11700 block of Glen Road.
    • Between Sunday, Nov. 18, at 10 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 19, at 8 a.m. in the 13100 block of Brushwood Way.
  • A woman was punched in the eye and robbed in the trash room of a Potomac apartment building Nov. 18 around 6:30 p.m. Read the most recent story of the incident here.
