Three Charged With Robbing Potomac CVS

Three suspects are in custody for what police have determined was an inside job in the robberies of the Potomac CVS.

Montgomery County Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of three suspects connected with two armed robberies of a CVS store located on Tuckerman Lane in Potomac.

Fenton Graham, 35, of Silver Spring, an employee of the CVS, was arrested and charged on February 14.

Graham's girlfriend, 29-year-old Michelle Allison of Randallstown, was arrested on February 18 and charged with obstructing and hindering the investigation. Michael Cooke, 53, father of Allison, was arrested April 2 in Las Vegas on the strength of a Maryland arrest warrant.

Graham was employed by CVS as a supervisor at the time of the robberies and was working in the store during both robberies, according to a police report.

On February 6, around 2:50 a.m., 1st District officers responded to an armed robbery at the CVS store located at 7955 Tuckerman Lane in Potomac. Police say Cooke entered the store, greeting Graham and another employee in a friendly manner. According to charges, Cooke then produced a gun and struck the other employee in the face. Cooke ordered Graham to tie up the other employee and place money from the registers in a duffle bag. He then allegedly left the CVS on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The 39-year-old male employee who was injured during the robbery was transported to a local hospital with a laceration to his mouth.

On February 13, at approximately 1:29 a.m., officers responded to the same CVS store for a second armed robbery. Police say Cooke again entered the store and posed as a customer. Cooke allegedly displayed a gun, demanded cash and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Cooke was last seen entering a vehicle, until Montgomery County Police determined that Cooke was in Las Vegas. U.S. Marshals arrested Cooke on April 2 in Las Vegas.

"[Cooke] has been served with the arrest warrant, but hasn't been extradited to Maryland yet," said Montgomery County Police spokesperson officer Rebecca Innocenti.
