Six Burglaries Reported In Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Oct. 15-23.

Six residential burglaries were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Oct. 15-23

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 11900 block of Gainsborough Road in Potomac on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 2:23 p.m. at 11932.  Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred between 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, and 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, in the 9200 block of Farnsworth Drive in Potomac.  Entry was forced and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Friday, Oct. 19, between 8:40 a.m. and 7:51 p.m. in the 11200 block of Marwood Hill Drive, Travilah.  Entry was forced and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Saturday, Oct. 20, between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 8800 block of Stone Trail Drive, Potomac.  Entry was forced and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Friday, Oct. 19, between 11 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. in the 13500 block of Hunting Hill Way, Travilah.  Entry was forced and property was taken. 
  • A residential burglary occurred on Saturday, Oct. 20, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. in the 12200 block of Greenbriar Branch Drive, Travilah.  Entry was not forced and property was taken.
