Suspect in Potomac, Bethesda Thefts Arrested

Michael Dorsey of Potomac was arrested Friday and is being charged with nine total counts of theft.

Montgomery County Police have arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for a string of thefts from vehicles in the Potomac and Bethesda areas, mostly around Falls Road and MacArthur Boulevard.

Michael B. Dorsey, of the 7800 block of Scotland Drive, Potomac, was arrested by police on Oct. 21 and is being charged with seven counts of theft less than $1000 and two counts of theft $1000 to $10,000, according to a Montgomery County Police press release.

Dorsey is being held on $50,000 bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
