Twelve Thefts From Auto Reported in Potomac

One robbery and 12 thefts-from-auto were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Jan. 23 Jan. 31.

, Potomac on Friday, Jan. 27 at 9:40 a.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

The suspect is a white male, 6’-6’2”, 200 lbs., with grey hair. He was wearing a mask, white jacket and tan khaki pants.

Twelve thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Wednesday, Jan. 25 to Thursday, Jan. 26 in the Carderock Springs subdivision of Potomac. All of the victims had either unlocked doors or unknown entry. Cash or small electronics in the vehicles were taken. Affected streets included: the 8000 block of Park Overlook Drive, unit block of Park Overlook Court, 7900 and 8000 blocks of Hamilton Spring Road and the 8200 block of Lilly Stone Drive.
