Two Burglaries, Two Thefts Reported In Potomac

The 1st District Montgomery County Police Department released crime information for Dec. 24 - Jan.1.

Two residential burglaries and two thefts from vehicles were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of Dec. 24-Jan.1.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Beechknoll Lane, Rockville on Tuesday, Jan. 1, between 3:13 p.m. and 6:32 p.m. Forced entry. Property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred between 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, and 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, in the 8100 block of Postoak Road, Potomac. Forced entry. Property taken.
  • A theft from a vehicle occurred on Sunday, Dec. 30, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 10800 block of Mac Arthur Boulevard, Bethesda. Unlocked vehicle. Two credit cards and cash from a wallet were taken. 
  • A theft from a vehicle occurred on Monday, Dec. 31, between 3 p.m. and 3:42 p.m. in the 11700 block of Mac Arthur Boulevard, Bethesda. Forced entry. Credit cards taken.
