Vigil for Jane Doe to Be Held Sunday in Frederick

Missing Persons Network and state police mark 20 years since her body was found along I-270.

Sunday marks 20 years since a worker cutting weeds along southbound Interstate 270 in Frederick County found the body of a young woman.

The woman, whose decomposed body was found down an embankment at the Baker Hill Road overpass, has never been identified and her killing remains unsolved.

The Maryland Missing Persons Network and Maryland State Police will hold a vigil to bring attention to the cold case at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of the Worthington Farm on Baker Hill Road at Monocacy National Battlefield.
