VIDEO: August Earthquake Rocks Potomac

The Aug. 23 earthquake that rocked the region and damaged the Washington Monument also caused a bit of damage in Potomac, MD.

On Monday, the National Park Service released footage of visitors running down the steps of the Washington Monument as the Aug.23 earthquake hit. Debris can be seen falling from the ceiling around them.

But have you seen this video of the earthquake shaking up a Potomac liquor store? Granted, the loss of 21 bottles, as reported by the store manager, is nothing compared to the damage of a national monument, but the earthquake was still pretty scary for those of us sitting around the Potomac Place Shopping Center.
