Churchill Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team Defeats Walter Johnson in Double Overtime

Thursday night's Girls Varsity Lacrosse game between Churchill HS and Walter Johnson was a classic of all ages!  WJ dashed out to a 5-1 lead at halftime. Churchill fought back to take a 10-8 lead with 2 minutes left. WJ scored twice before the end of regulation to tie it up 10-10. After the first overtime both teams scored once sending the game into double overtime. Going in to double overtime, and now sudden death, Churchill Freshman Attack player Annabelle Humiston scored the game winner on a great pass from Sophomore Rachel Thal-Larson. Churchill Girls Lacrosse team defeats Walter Johnson in double overtime 12-11.
