Exclusive Screening of Temple of Peace

Temple of Peace is a 30 minute film documenting the construction of Temple Shalom in Fayetteville, Arkansas with the help of a large in kind contribution by a Muslim neighbor.  It tells the story of Fadil Bayyari, a Paleestinian American Muslim, who reached out to the local Jewish community in Fayetteville, Alabama, to help build a synagogue.  Bayyari worked with synagogue members, including construction manager Jeremy Hess, to bridge gaps between the two religions and bring the communities together.  Following the screening, there will be a moderated interfaith discussion.  Please RSVP to Shari Benowitz at sbenowitz@harshalom.org or call 301-299-7087 Ext. 228.
