Housing Options Symposium for Those with Autism and Other Developmental Disaiblities

For many parents of a child with developmental or intellectual disabilities, just getting through the day can be a trial.  Butthinking about their long-term future is so important: What will happen to your child when you are no longer able to care for them?  Where will they go?  Who will care for their needs?However, it doesn’t have to be as intimidating as it may sound.

Madison House Foundation is dedicated to issues affecting adults with autism.  One of the biggest, both in terms of need and cost, is that of available and affordable housing.

Please join us for a 3/4 day, panel discussion about housing options that are available—or are on the near horizon—for those over the age of 21, the age when most publicly funded services effectively stop.  We will have four panels featuring highly regarded subject matters in each of the following areas:
