Two Additional Churchill Seniors Receive National Merit Scholarship

A total of 67 students in Montgomery County Public Schools have been awarded National Merit Scholarships this year.

Two seniors from are adding their names to the long list of National Merit Scholarship recipients in Montgomery County Public Schools.

In the latest round announced this week, 17 MCPS students received the National Merit Scholarship after 50 other MCPS students received the scholarship earlier this year.

The MCPS total so far represents one-third of the total scholarships awarded to Maryland, according to an MCPS press release.
