Yes, summer’s bounty is broad and flavorful, each vegetable standing proud and tasty all on its own.  But, let’s be frank here, as lovely and tasty as a cucumber is by itself, it shines even brighter when combined with another of summer’s fare like mint or dill or even green onion.  The real magic happens when we combine our summer veggies into glorious taste bud concoctions that deeply satisfy. And what do you get when you combine the crisp cucumber with the depth of fresh garlic, and the heat of a just-picked cayenne pepper? A fresh, palate quenching pickle!  The “Pickleman” comes to the market Thursday! Jeff of Tony’s Pickles is bringing freshly made Kosher Dills, Sweet & Sour Bread and Butter, Fire Garlic, and Cracked Black Pepper with a hint of Old Bay Spice pickles.

Carol is bringing huge sunflowers and freshly picked eucalyptus.  Peach pies, baked treats and fresh fish from Go Fish. Let’s keep Go Fish coming to the market by purchasing your fresh fish and prepared meals from Missy. See you Thursday! J
