Potomac Village Farmers Market: At The Market This Week June 1st
Check out your the Potomac Village Farmers Market Master notes for what's one sale this week.
This Thursday promises to be a fantastic day at the ! McCleaf's, Rocklands and are prepared with deliciously fresh spring produce though with the summer-like heat, many plants are bolting so come and get your broccoli, kale, and your greens before they disappear until fall.
McCleaf's and Aliaabad greenhouses have been very productive, enabling the arrival this week of our first summer squash and zucchini of the season. Yum! It's just a matter of time before tomatoes start to arrive! I hear sweet cherries could be at the market as early as next week! Flowers are blooming too at Plantmasters in Laytonsville. Carol will have plenty on hand for your table or garden. Our food vendors are happy to serve up dinner, bread for buttering or dipping, and a fresh pie for dessert. Here is a complete list of what's at the market this week.
