This 800-acre park spans parts of Virginia and Maryland. Part of the parkthat's in the Potomac showcases the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and is a United States National Park. The Great Falls Tavern is located at the entrance of this park. It is an historic building in Potomac that currently is being used as the park's visitor center. The center features information regarding the park and historical information about the building and the region.
