My daughter, now 5 1/2, is entering her third year at Lone Oak Montessori and we couldn't be happier. She loves going to school and gets the most individualized curriculum imaginable. She is learning things at her own pace, which is very advanced in her case, and doing math work at age 5 that most first graders don't get to. There is a lovely group of families at the school and a strong sense of community. While the facilities aren't much to look at, the price is right for such a good education. All the teachers have Master's degrees in their age group of Montessori education, something you won't find at many other preschools. She's excited to go up to Elementary when she is ready (she will move up when she is ready educationally and socially and not according to the calendar) and we plan to keep her there through sixth grade. I feel fortunate there is such a good AMI accredited Montessori school nearby.
