Churchill High Schools Hosts 9th Annual Bulldog Golf Classic

When school’s out, golf clubs swing – in October, at least, when Winston Churchill High School hosts its annual benefit golf classic memorializing the life of an alum. The Winston Churchill High School golf classic is held each year in honor of a 1998 Churchill graduate, Brian Song, who drowned in Ocean City in the fall of 2003. Song was a Churchill football player, and a fund was established in his honor to support Churchill athletics and to sponsor a yearly scholarship. This year’s classic takes place Friday, Oct. 19. Montgomery County public school students and teachers will have the day off as administrators head to fall conferences.
