The Churchill Bulldogs improve their record to (8-1) in their final away game of the regular season.
Churchill controlled the game with its rushing attack lead by Curtis Kamara. Kamara rushed for two touchdowns in the game. Quarterback Lansana Keita rushed for a touchdown, and connected on a pass with Quan Gill for another score. With the win, the Bulldogs earned the right to host a playoff game. Their opponent will be determined at the end of the regular season. Next Game: Sherwood @ Churchill on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Wootton's Chris Papadopoulos and Sam Zacks eached rushed for a touchdown. With the loss, the Patriots drop their record to 4-5. Next Game: Wootton @ Gaithersburg on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Churchill beat Walter Johnson 24-22 in a come-from-behind win on Friday night.
After giving up a 21-6 halftime lead, the Churchill Bulldogs found themselves trailing in the fourth quarter. With less than a minute left in the game, quarterback Jonathan Lee connected on a pass with Dillon Nussbaum to set up the go-ahead field goal, which they made. Churchill's Curtis Kamara rushed for three touchdowns helping the Bulldog's improve their record to 6-1 on the year. This is their second three game winning streak of the year after starting the season 3-0. Next Game: At Springbrook at 2:00 on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Patch talks to Coach Joe Allen and several players after they beat Northwest in a thrilling overtime victory.
The Churchill Bulldogs improved their record to (5-1) after defeating Northwest 41-35 on Thursday. Quarterback Lansana Keita threw four touchdown passes and rushed for another. Wide receivers Quan Gill and Dillon Nussbaum each caught a touchdown pass. Dominique Williams, who plays on both sides of the ball intercepted a pass in overtime, and scored the game-winning touchdown on the next play. It was his second touchdown catch of the game. Churchill got back in the win column on Friday with a narrow 15-13 win over Gaithersburg. The Bulldogs beat the previously unbeaten Trojans, and improved their record to 4-1. This is the second time this season that Churchill has come back from a 7-0 deficit at the half to win a game. The team also did it three weeks ago at Whitman. Lansana Keita rushed for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Sam Edens. The most exciting play of the night came from Jacob Suissa, who recovered a fumble when Gaithersburg was in position to take the lead with just over two minutes left in the game. The Churchill Bulldogs are no longer undefeated after losing to Seneca Valley 32-6 on Friday night. Penalties and turnovers were key factors in the loss. Churchill was able to move up and down the field, but they weren't able to capitalize on their chances because of interceptions and fumbles. Running back Curtis Kamara scored the only touchdown for the Bulldogs. Next Game: Gaithersburg @ Churchill at 6:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs dominated the Barons of B-CC by scoring seven touchdowns. Coach Joe Allen gives a lot of the credit to the offensive and defensive lines for being able to control the line of scrimmage. Churchill remains undefeated with win over Whitman.
The Churchill Bulldogs improved their record to (2-0) with a 21-7 victory over Whitman on Saturday night. Wide receiver Dominique Williams and running back Malik Harris each scored a touchdown. The veteran Bulldogs believe they have the pieces to make a run at a state championship.
From the moment his team hit the field for the start of preseason practice, it has been clear to Winston Churchill football coach Joe Allen that this year’s Bulldogs have the makings of a championship team. A veteran group, Churchill returns 14 starters of its 22 starters from last year’s team that won five of its final eight games. “The kids know that we potentially have a very good team,” Allen said, entering his third season as the Bulldogs head coach. “And throughout preseason practice, they’ve been working hard, just flying through things and the leadership has been very solid, too.
