The area’s restaurant weeks are nigh, exciting many a local with the prospect of fancy meals at a third of the price. Over 200 DC-area restaurants will participate in Washington’s Restaurant Week – this year taking place Feb. 4-10. D.C. Restaurant Week takes you through most of the summer doldrums -- all the way to Sunday, Aug. 19. If you're going just over the border or all the way to Georgetown, dozens of eateries have deals throughout the Washington metropolitan area. The familiar prix-fixe menus will be offered at affordable rates: $20.12 for lunch and $35.12 for dinner for a three-course meal (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity).
