Montgomery County Councilmember Roger Berliner will host an informal discussion about District 1 issues with constituents Wednesday evening.
Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac residents will have the opportunity to meet with their Montgomery County Council representative in a town hall setting on Wednesday. Roger Berliner, District 1 council representative, will meet with residents at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Service Center as part of a series of community meetings. The First District Police Station, which covers areas in Potomac, North Potomac, Darnestown and Rockville, is schedule to move to the new Public Safety Headquarters in May.
Police headquarters for Potomac will soon be moving from Seven Locks Road to a new location in Gaithersburg. The First District Police Station, which covers areas in Potomac, North Potomac, Darnestown and Rockville, is schedule to move in May to the new Public Safety Headquarters at 100 Edison Park Drive in Gaithersburg. In addition to the First District Station, the $108.5 million project brings Montgomery County Police Headquarters, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services, the office of Homeland Security and parts of the transportation department under one 408,000 square-foot roof.
