How many students qualified as semifinalists this year?
It’s a new school year, which means a whole new group of students competing nationwide for National Merit Scholarships. Winston Churchill High School has 11 students competing for a $2,500 prize, as semifinalists for the 2013 National Merit scholarship, according to a Montgomery County Public Schools release.
