Montgomery County Superintendent Sinks Battleships With Potomac Students

Dr. Starr visited Potomac classrooms Thursday.

After a two-hour delay last week canceled visits to several Potomac schools by Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Joshua Starr, we thought he’d never get the chance to hang out with our adorable elementary students. We were wrong. Churchill Students Present 'Bus Stop' in February

Will you see the high school's latest production?

The blizzards, warm fireplaces and chemistry of 1955 Kansas will roll into Winston Churchill High School Feb. 8 in a production of William Inge's dramatic comedy "Bus Stop." According to the production release on Patch: "Bus Stop" follows a group of strangers traveling by bus, stranded in a rural Kansas diner during a freak snowstorm.  The story follows eight characters as they experience frustration, tears and laughter, examine their own motivations and forge unlikely romantic connections in a single night.  "'Bus Stop' is an endearing, deceptively simple play that taps into universal feelings," said director Lynda Scionti. "I have wanted to direct this production for some time and it finally came together with this cast at Churchill. We …
