One residential burglary and multiple thefts from vehicles were reported in Potomac in the Montgomery County Police Department crime summary for the period of July 30 – Aug. 7. A residential garage burglary occurred in the 9100 block of Charred Oak Drive, Potomac, on Friday, Aug. 3, between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Suspects did not force entry into the residents, and stole cash. Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred, with most occurring overnight between Thursday, Aug. 2, and Friday, Aug. 3. All the vehicles were unlocked or were entered via unknown methods.
