Sophia Maravell, Neighbor

Sophia graduated Colorado College in 2010 where she co-managed the Colorado College Student-run Farm, and wrote her thesis of female farmers in sustainable agriculture. Upon graduation she attended a 12-month vocational training program at The Farm School where she studied organic vegetable production and sustainable animal husbandry.  She has worked on various farms in the US and abroad in the past five years. She is an advocate for agro-education because she believes in growing beautiful food, vibrant communities and a healthy environment.
