The Civil War Comes to Rockville

The Civil War Comes to Rockville, part of Heritage Montgomery’s annual Heritage Days Weekend, commemorates the 150th anniversary of Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart’s raid on the town.  Reenactments, Music, Lectures, Crafts, Walking Tours and more will be featured at the Beall-Dawson House and Grounds, Historic Red Brick Courthouse, Christ Episcopal Church, and the Rockville Town Square.  Fun for the whole family, all day long, capped off with a Country Dance in the Town Square in the evening.  Sponsored by Heritage Montgomery, Montgomery Historical Society, Peerless Rockville, Washington Revels, City of Rockville and the Conference and Visitor Bureau of Montgomery County.
